Join our fast-growing, dynamic company anywhere in Europe!For our new UK branch in Scotland we are looking for a:Field Service Mechanic – PumpsLocation: BathgateJob description:Are you a skilled mechanic who takes pride in delivering the best service? Do you enjoy customer contact? We need you to deliver and maintain our fleet of fluid transfer products (pumps), and give technical support to our customers. This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opportunities for occasional weekend and overtime work.Your focus:Carry out mechanical servicing and fault finding on diesel, electrical and air driven pumpsDeliver and install / de-install our range of pumps, filtration equipment and tanks at customer sitesHand-over of equipment to the customer and instruct customer on correct usage.Perform repairs and maintenance on rental equipmentProvide guidance to other operation team membersMonitor parts inventory and maintain minimum stock levelsYour profile:Maintenance experience, preferably with bias towards fluid transfer processes and products – both diesel, electric and air drivenEssential that you have a technical background in electrical and mechanical maintenanceExperience with plant and equipment hire business desirableParticipate in on-call system and willingness to make occasional overnight tripsDriving license B is essentialGood oral and written communication skills essentialValuable competences: proactive, service oriented, team player, flexible and independentMust be IT literateAbout usUnited Rentals UK Ltd, is the industry leader in fluid solutions, providing cost effective rental products for pumping, storing handling liquids and providing power.
