Class 2 Driver (Category C) with HIAB – Temp to Perm
Broxburn
£14.29 per hour
Monday to Friday Approx. 7:00am – 5:00pm

Driver Hire Edinburgh West is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver with HIAB to join their busy operation in Broxburn.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a dependable and flexible driver who enjoys customer-facing work and being part of a supportive team environment.
The Role
As a key member of the transport team, you will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to customers across Broxburn and the surrounding areas. Professionalism and high customer service standards are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safe and efficient operation of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB
- Accurate, timely delivery of goods
- Planning efficient routes to meet daily schedules
- Ensuring full compliance with drivers’ hours, tachograph regulations, and transport legislation
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures
- Representing the company professionally at delivery sites and providing excellent customer service
Candidate Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport regulations
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Willingness to support wider operational needs and learn new tasks
