Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with an interest in working within the Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Service sub specialty. The service provides assessment and intervention to children and young people aged 0-18 years and their families, delivering highly specialist psychological input for complex presentations and close multi agency collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will: play a key role in the delivery and supervision of specialist psychological care, contribute to clinical leadership within the service, and participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Postgraduate Doctoral level qualification (or equivalent) in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience of working with children and young people presenting with complex needs.
  • Experience or additional training in neurodevelopmental conditions is desirable.
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
