Job Description
Overview
Physiotherapist – Community Rehabilitation Team, St Andrews Community Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide NHS level assessment and treatment to older adults, primarily in inpatient settings.
- Deliver rehabilitation to patients in wards, homes, homely settings or as an outpatient.
- Focus on inpatient rehabilitation to prevent unnecessary admissions and support early discharge.
- Supervise and support junior Band 6 staff.
- Work across multiple community hospital sites as required.
- Participate in audit and service development activities.
- Maintain comprehensive clinical records and evidence of continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Registered with the HCPC.
- Experience working with adults, particularly older people, within an NHS setting.
- Evidence of continuous professional development appropriate to banding.
- Experience supervising junior staff (Band 6).
- Capability to travel throughout the area.
