ELLON GROUP PRACTICE (Aberdeenshire)

SALARIED GP – 6 sessions per week

Ellon Group Practice are delighted to invite applications from enthusiastic and compassionate clinicians to join our dedicated team of seven GP Partners and three Salaried GPs. We are proud to deliver high quality, evidence based care while fostering a culture where every team member feels valued, respected, and supported.

About the Role

We are seeking cover for 6 sessions per week, which includes participation in the all day Duty Doctor rota. Collaborative working is central to our ethos, and our supportive on call rota ensures patient safety is never compromised.

About Us

We are a paper light practice using EMIS currently (migration to Vision pending) and Docman, and we actively embrace new technologies to enhance both patient care and staff experience. As an undergraduate and GP training practice, we host a vibrant postgraduate educational programme featuring visiting specialist consultants.

Our Practice Management Team works hard to minimise administrative burden, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. You will be supported by a strong multidisciplinary team including:

  • 2 Practice Pharmacists
  • 2 ANPs
  • 1 UCP
  • 5 Practice Nurses delivering Chronic Disease Management and Minor Illness clinics
  • Additional Treatment Room nursing and HCSW support via CTAC

Further MDT services within the Health Centre include First Contact Physio, Pharmacotherapy, Health Visitors, Community Nursing, and Occupational Therapy.

House visits are kept to a minimum thanks to a full time Urgent Care Practitioner provided by the Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership.
