Location & Salary
Edinburgh – Full time and part time contracts available. Salary: Earn up to £26,526.23 per year pro rata.
Role Overview
Edinburgh Support Practitioner – providing care and support for vulnerable people across six services in Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with colleagues as part of a supportive team.
- Communicate and build positive relationships with supported people.
- Provide individual care, encouraging progress and maintaining appropriate relationships.
- Support individuals through activities, giving positive feedback.
- Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark’s Information Management system.
Experience & Training
Previous experience is an advantage but not essential; Ark will provide full training. Roles that would give relevant experience include Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Social Care Worker.
