Fairfield Medical Practice in Inverness is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and educational team.

This part-time post consists of 6 sessions per week, with a preferred working pattern spanning Wednesday to Friday.

As an established training practice in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, we pride ourselves on shaping the future workforce by hosting both University medical students and GP Trainees (GPSTs).

The Practice has a list size of 6900 patients and consists of 4 Partners, 3 salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Healthcare Assistants and an experienced team of administration staff.

• Extensive MDT Support: We have integrated an outstanding multi professional team. You will work side by side with colleagues such as Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Mental Health Nurses, and Guided Self Help colleagues to ensure patients get the right care quickly.
• Educational Ethos: Teaching is part of our DNA. We host both university medical students and GP Specialty Trainees (GPSTs), providing excellent opportunities if you have an interest in medical education.
• Efficient Workflows: We use Vision and Docman to keep our administrative burden smooth, organised, and highly efficient. The working day includes 1 hour protected time for admin per session.
