Retail Assistant – Part Time Job Details

  • Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.
  • Pay: £10.95 £12.81 per hour (dependent on age).

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. The position offers a permanent part time schedule with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
  • Help customers find the items they are looking for.
  • Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer pack up help, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
  • Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers.
  • Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep shops safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

  • A friendly, positive, hard working approach.
  • Enjoy being busy and able to jump between tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation.
  • Reliable and dependable; team and customers rely on consistent performance each shift.
  • Flexible with shift patterns; ready to cover for colleagues when needed.
