Band 3 Trainee Healthcare Support Worker

This role is not an entry level position; some relevant experience in a clinical or support environment is required. You will be paid at a Band 2 level while undertaking educational and clinical competencies that enable you to take on the full range of duties within the Band 3 job description. Following successful completion of the training program you will progress into the Band 3 pay scale, ideally within 9 12 months of starting.

Qualities and Experience

• Relevant clinical or support experience in a healthcare setting.
• Commitment to patient centred care and a collaborative, person focused approach.

Training and Progression

You will undertake a structured training programme that includes both educational and clinical components. Successful completion of this programme will lead to a Band 3 appointment.

Interview Information

Interview date is 16/07/2026. The interview will be conducted at the Comely Bank Centre in Edinburgh.
