The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join an ambitious and forward-thinking organisation operating within the space-based technology sector. You will play a key role in supporting the sales team, managing customer enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth operational workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the sales team
  • Ensuring all relevant documentation is received from new customers
  • Updating internal systems with credit limits
  • Setting up new customers accurately within internal systems
  • Processing customer orders
  • Preparing and reviewing shipping documentation for export
  • Liaising with the warehouse to confirm stock availability and order fulfilment
  • Handling customer enquiries, queries, and order updates via telephone and email
  • Planning and coordinating freight forwarders on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensuring all paperwork complies with customs and export requirements
  • Assisting export agents as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative, export, or sales administration role would be advantageous
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively without supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver accurate information to colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • High attention to detail
  • Conscientious, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Ability to solve problems methodically and identify effective solutions
