Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and security conscious Security Administrator to support the effective operation of the Security Department at HMP Addiewell.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a key part in security compliance, data analysis, audit assurance, and maintaining the safe and secure running of the establishment.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring CCTV and productions are available for presentation at the Orderly Room.
- Handling productions and ensuring records are kept up to date.
- Assisting with the testing of productions and report findings in line with the contract.
- Liaison with Police Scotland.
- Support staff training and awareness programmes.
- Oversight of audit and assurance processes.
- Ensure compliance with RIPSA standards across the establishment.
- Input incidents data on to PR2 linking in closely with Intelligence Management Unit.
- Liaison with external agencies including contracts for BWVC, radios, batons etc.
- Undertake duties as required that will contribute to the effective operation of the Security Unit & whole establishment.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Liaise with employees and members of the public in a polite, confident and friendly manner.
