We are pleased to advertise the opportunity to join our vibrant and innovative team of music therapy lecturers and researchers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced music therapist to join our team as Programme Leader of our MSc Music Therapy, part of our portfolio of arts therapies programmes.
Working with the music therapy team, you will help lead the planning and delivery of stimulating and engaging learning experiences on a programme that promotes person-centered and psychodynamic ways of working. You will collaborate with colleagues across the University to support excellent student experiences.
Based within the Division of Occupational Therapy and Arts Therapies, you will be welcomed into our interdisciplinary community of scholars where you can explore options to further your career in the teaching, scholarship, and knowledge exchange activities that change people’s lives for the better.
If you are a music therapist with experience of working with students and are looking for an opportunity to lead work on an internationally recognised programme as part of a creative and flexible team, then we would love to hear from you.
You will be registered as a music therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council and have evidence of active continuing professional development. You will possess interpersonal skills that will enable you to work effectively with students, colleagues and help support local and international networks.
This role meets the minimum requirements set by UKVI to enable sponsorship of migrant workers.
