Our client is a top-tier global Semiconductor company on a mission to build a safer, healthier, greener, and smarter world through innovative semiconductor solutions. Their Edinburgh design team sits right at the heart of innovation for power management IC design, and they seek an Analog IC Design Engineer to join this growing group.
Responsibilities
As an Analog IC Design Engineer you will work on full-chip designs and major system-level blocks, collaborating directly with staff and principal level engineers. You will design challenging analog and mixed-signal components from initial specification through to product release, and contribute to the increasingly critical power management IC (PMIC) design needed for modern devices with higher power density.
Qualifications
- A BSc/MSc within Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
- Several years of experience within analog / mixed-signal design.
- A good understanding of analog circuit fundamentals such as amplifiers, oscillators, LDOs, comparators.
- Familiarity with EDA tools and Cadence design environment.
- Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Any knowledge or experience within power management IC design would be beneficial.
