Domestic Assistant – East Calder Health Centre

Hours

  • 17:30 – 19:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • 17:30 – 19:06 Friday
  • 9.6 Hours per week

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a range of domestic services within Clinical / Non Clinical Departments throughout all areas of the Hospitals and Health Centres ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, Audit Scotland and HAI task force requirements, National Cleaning Services Specification and other requirements as specified by the Division.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must have a current Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member, must apply to Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory result before commencing.
  • Work with the legal requirement to demonstrate permission to work in the United Kingdom (UK Visa and Immigration compliance).
  • Note: Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, a different level of criminal record check may be required if the role is considered regulated.
