Position

Community Health Care Support Worker – District Nursing Team (Troon, Dundonald, Prestwick)

We are looking for a Community Health Care Support Worker to join the District Nursing Team. The successful candidate will assist people to maintain independence at home and support them after leaving the hospital.

Hours

19.8 hours per week, permanent. Job share will be considered. The post holder will work a rostered shift pattern weekdays with a weekend working commitment.

Essential Requirements

  • A UK driving licence is essential.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom, or eligibility for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with enabling people to maintain their independence at home and to support people after they have left the hospital. You will need to be flexible, able to use initiative, and provide high standards of patient care to support the team and ensure delivery of a high quality service to the local community.

Qualifications / Training

Experience not required, although of benefit. Full training will be provided.
