Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome every customer and immerse them in the world of Hotel Chocolat.
  • Discover customers’ needs and reason for their visit through friendly conversation.
  • Delight customers through product demonstrations and tasting sessions, checking for allergens.
  • Close the sale and confidently recommend additional products such as gift bags.
  • Thank customers for shopping, ensuring they leave happy.
  • Process transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
  • Respond to customer feedback.
  • Work with team to support deliveries and stock management, keeping the delivery area clear and tidy per health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain the appearance of the store and café areas to a high standard.
  • If in a café area: prepare hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks per guidelines, keep area clean, and focus on upselling to customers.
  • Support the success of the store and team where possible.
