Cyber and Information Security Manager
NHS Forth Valley is recruiting a Cyber and Information Security Manager to lead and advise on cyber and information security across the organisation. The role is based within the Information Governance Unit and involves developing and maintaining the NHS Forth Valley Information Security Management System in compliance with the Networks and Information Systems Regulation 2018 (NIS).
Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on Cyber/Information Security technical controls, procedures and standards.
- Create and implement the NHS Forth Valley Information Security Management System to ensure NIS 2018 compliance.
- Act as NIS audit lead and key member of the Cyber Incident Response Team, ensuring incident response plans are fit for purpose and current.
- Develop and implement NHS Forth Valley Information Security Policies and the Information Governance Framework.
- Assess Cyber Security technical controls and provide specialist advice to all staff.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including local Digital teams and partner organisations.
- Deputise for the Head of Information Governance as required.
- Maintain Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check status and complete related duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cyber and information security leadership.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
Working Conditions
Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. The hourly rate will be increased so that pay is not affected.

NHS Forth Valley may offer sponsorship for suitable roles, subject to meeting minimum salary thresholds and other criteria.
