Care Coordinator – Domiciliary Care

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

An established care at home provider operating across Glasgow and the West of Scotland is seeking a Care Coordinator to support the Registered Manager with the safe day to day coordination of care delivery.

Role

  • Prepare and maintain accurate, effective care rotas
  • Manage visit changes, staff availability, sickness, and holiday cover
  • Support new care packages from acceptance through to care start
  • Monitor late, missed, and short visits and rota risks
  • Maintain accurate care records and system information
  • Support daily reconciliation across delivered visits, payroll, and invoicing
  • Escalate safeguarding, medication, or quality concerns promptly
  • Participate in the on call rota, including out of hours cover

Requirements

  • Experience in care at home, domiciliary care, or housing support
  • Care coordination, scheduling, or senior care experience (strong senior carers ready to step up will be considered)
  • Strong IT, record keeping, and communication skills
  • Experience with Birdie, BrightHR, or similar systems (advantageous)
  • SSSC registration (or eligible)
  • Eligible for PVG and right to work checks
  • Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills
