Position
Medical Records Officer within Business Administration, Mental Health Services, North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership based at Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock.
Hours
36 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 9:00 5:00, Friday 9:00 3:30.
What you will do
You will provide comprehensive, confidential clerical and administrative support to the Medical Records Service throughout University Hospital Crosshouse.
Requirements
- Education to O Grade / Standard Grade Credit or National 5 in English and Maths and possess an SVQ Level II qualification in Administration or equivalent qualification/experience. A high degree of accuracy is required.
- Good proven typing skills, experience of data input and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Experience of using the electronic Patient Management System (PMS – Trakcare) and working within an NHS environment. Understanding of NHS inter disciplinary networks is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in line with GDPR.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes and last minute demands. Work will be undertaken in warehouse conditions.
- Full UK driving licence desirable if required to travel across sites/bases within Ayrshire & Arran.
