- Employment: Permanent, 40 hours per week
Consultant Paediatric ENT Surgeon based at the Royal Hospital for Children. The role will include the management of elective and emergent ENT admissions, outpatient clinics and inpatient / day case theatre. The job plan will be negotiated depending on subspecialty interests and departmental need. In addition to this the on call component will be 1:8.
The post holder will join a team including 7 consultant otolaryngologists, 1 audiovestibular physician, 2 specialty doctors, 1 senior clinical fellow, 2 speciality registrars, GP trainees, two complex airway clinical nurse specialists and 2 ENT clinical nurse specialists. The department has a developing research portfolio and is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education.
All applicants must possess full GMC registration, a licence to practice, CCT (or equivalent) and a paediatric fellowship (or equivalent experience).
