Accounts Assistant
- Location: West Lothian, Scotland
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per annum
Reed Accountancy are currently working with a renowned client in the area who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in office, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s transactional and month-end duties.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
- Processing payments and invoices
- Preparing supplier payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Processing expenses
- Performing credit control duties
- Assisting in month-end duties
- Preparing prepayments and journal postings
- Performing ad hoc duties
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar accounting role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great attention to detail
