Job Description

Healthcare Account Manager – Glasgow Hospital – Full Time, Permanent – 37.5 hours per week – Salary up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

Job Overview

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital is looking for a Healthcare Account Manager to deliver the hospital’s marketing strategy and charitable purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital and the Nuffield Health brand consistently across all stakeholders, supporting the implementation of brand values and guidelines using social media, local advertising and local partnerships.
  • Promote the hospital as the number one choice for potential patients and employees through internal and external communication methods.
  • Organise internal and/or external events, conferences and briefings, ensuring accurate and complete supporting documentation is produced in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Build strong professional relationships with primary health care team members, consumers, consultants, corporate clients and colleagues.
  • Support and develop a targeted growth referral strategy with revenue targets for selected specialties and consultants, incorporating key audiences such as primary care, physiotherapists, local businesses and potential patients.
  • Ensure the hospital delivers its charitable purpose.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development or GP liaison in an NHS or private setting.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, self starter able to work on own initiative without supervision.
  • Good numerical and analytical ability.
  • Ability to influence diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Results driven and proactive.
  • Proven experience presenting to groups – GPs, consultants, businesses.
  • Proven experience designing, organising and delivering large scale events of 200+ delegates.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in social media use.
