Job Description
Purpose of the role
To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
- Support day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives through lending technical expertise.
- Monitor the bank’s lending operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
- Identify improvement areas and recommend changes to Wholesale Lending processes.
- Develop and implement procedures and controls that mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Create reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
- Identify industry trends and develop best practice implementations in Wholesale Lending Services.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with corporate actions and NDAs.
- Familiarity with Syndtrack and other deal sites.
- Experience in corporate lending or a secondary loan trading support function.
- Ability to manage multiple urgent workstreams.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive attitude.
- Assessment on critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job specific technical skills.
Location
This role will be based out of Glasgow.
