Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Associate Trainers to support the delivery of high-quality training across the water, drainage and gas utility sectors. This role is ideal for trainers with hands on sector experience who are passionate about developing others, promoting safe working practices, and helping learners build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.

- Deliver engaging training sessions to learners working in water, wastewater, or gas utility environments.
- Support the development of technical knowledge, compliance awareness, and safe working behaviours.
- Prepare training materials and contribute to the continuous improvement of course content.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Promote best practice in health, safety, environmental awareness, and utility sector practices.
- Maintain accurate training records and support quality assurance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with our team, clients, and learners to ensure a positive training experience.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Previous operational experience in the water / drainage / gas industry, such as clean water and wastewater networks, leak detection, high pressure water jetting and gas distribution networks.
- Strong understanding and experience of health, safety, and environmental practices within operational environments.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently to learners from Operations to Project and Contract Managers.
- Experience in training, mentoring, coaching, or assessment.
- A relevant training or assessment qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Knowledge of industry-recognised schemes such as EUSR National Water Hygiene, SHEA Drain & Sewers or Network Construction Operations (Water or Gas) would be advantageous.
- A proactive, professional approach with strong organisation and interpersonal skills.
