About the role
Do you have a passion for rehabilitation and supporting people to maximise their independence, health, and wellbeing? If so, we have an exciting range of opportunities for dynamic and forward thinking Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Assistant Practitioners within Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership.
Responsibilities
- Support community rehabilitation services across various locations, delivering patient centred care.
- Contribute to service development and innovation as part of the redesign of the Community Rehabilitation Service.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide rehabilitation interventions.
- Maintain personal and professional development through training and development opportunities offered by the EHSCP.
- Work flexibly across community locations and, on a rota system, be available for a 7 day working pattern including weekends once every 6 weeks.
- Adapt and evolve role responsibilities in line with service priorities and redesign.
Qualifications
- Current membership or record with the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult).
- If not a current PVG member, an application to Disclosure Scotland must be made and deemed satisfactory before beginning on the post.
- Legal permission to work in the United Kingdom.

Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme. Confirmation of any changes will be provided by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.
