Responsibilities

As the Manager you will be responsible for:

• Day to day running of the shop, prioritising customer service and creating a welcoming environment.
• Preparing, sorting, and displaying donations for sale, with significant manual handling.
• Recruiting, training, and maintaining a skilled bank of general volunteers for donation collection and preparation.
• Establishing and nurturing links with local businesses, Salvation Army Corps and community individuals for donation sourcing and volunteer recruitment.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety, storage, and operational procedures.

All Shop Managers will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Check.
