HGV 1 Driver – Glasgow Cambuslang

Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park – HGV Class 1 – New pass Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience.

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for full time temporary to permanent roles in our depot in Cambuslang – Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, 8 15 drops per day, with tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift pattern available

• Sunday to Wednesday 00:00
• Sunday to Wednesday 03:00
• Wednesday to Saturday 00:00
• Wednesday to Saturday 03:00
• Tuesday to Saturday 02:00

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
• Saturday £18.71
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
• Saturday £21.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50

30 minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual
• Willing to work weekends
• Motivated and open to learn new skills
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules
• Prepping vehicles for delivery
• Completing vehicle checks
• Refuelling vehicles
• The driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full
