Job Description

Salary: £90,000 – 90,000 per year

Requirements

• We need someone with proven GitHub Copilot experience, as this is essential for the role.
• We need strong Azure DevOps experience, as this is essential.
• We require solid SDLC experience.
• We are looking for a Senior Developer and/or Tech Lead with the ability to manage a team of three.
• We need strong technical understanding of business platforms.
• We need strong knowledge of .NET, SQL and Oracle.
• We need experience with enterprise integration patterns, API design, asynchronous messaging and data synchronisation.
• We need proven technical leadership across onshore and offshore teams, including line management responsibility.
• We need a track record of improving engineering quality, release readiness and handover into live service.
• We need strong ability to review designs, identify risks and ensure solutions meet clear quality standards.
• We need a good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, secure design and modern delivery practices.
• We need experience working in blended delivery environments with permanent teams, contractors and System Integrators.

Responsibilities

• We define and maintain engineering standards, patterns and guardrails across our business platforms.
• We review and assure solution designs, identifying risks, poor practices or gaps before build begins.
