Locum Specialty Doctor in Urology
Full Time – 10 PAs
Fixed term for 12 months
Salary £64,158 – £99,975 per annum (pro rata if part time)

NHS Forth Valley welcomes applications for a Specialty Doctor in Urology to join our department. This post will be offered on a full-time basis and is fixed term for a period of 12 months. The appointment will be subject to the terms and conditions of service for Specialty Doctors 2022. Candidates should have a minimum of four years post registration and at least 2 years’ experience in Urology.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is prepared to contribute to the development of Urology services in NHS Forth Valley. The post will include involvement in elective urology activity as well as the on-call urology service. This will require a contribution out with the normal working day as well as weekends.

Our hospital is situated in the heart of Scotland, nestled against the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and close to vibrant towns that are richly endowed with excellent cultural and sporting facilities, offering good transport links to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Applicants should have full GMC registration and a licence to practise. A minimum of four years’ post registration experience, at least two of which will be in Urology at Specialist Trainee level or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience and competencies. Applicants are required to have evidence of recent continued academic and professional development. Excellent communication, listening and organisational skills are essential.
