Job Description

Truck Sales Representative (Lothian DAF)

Due to retirement, Lothian DAF is seeking a motivated and driven Truck Sales Representative to join our experienced team in Loanhead. This role involves selling the complete DAF Truck range within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable business by generating and converting sales leads.
  • Support existing customers while proactively seeking new business opportunities through targeted calls and visits.
  • Meet or exceed all assigned sales targets.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to guarantee timely vehicle delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the truck industry.
  • A strong vehicle sales background with outstanding negotiation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of financing of business assets.
  • A confident, articulate and professional communication style.
  • A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for guiding customers through the entire purchase journey.
  • HGV driving licence would be desirable.
