Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer issues, taking control of each situation, investigating problems and developing solutions that keep customers satisfied and informed.
  • Carry out routine repairs and maintenance on water network infrastructure, plant, equipment and vehicle checks.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures, primarily Chapter8 NSRWA, and minimize service disruption.
  • Produce accurate reports using the company’s performance and productivity reporting systems.
  • Work with the team, including performing your shift on the 365 day standby rota for out of hours duties.

Qualifications

  • Self motivated and eager to contribute to team goals.
  • Basic IT skills – use of digital equipment and apps throughout the day.
  • Clear, concise report writing skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence – mandatory.
  • Nice to have: experience with HGVs or 180/360 excavators, cable avoidance tools, an understanding of health and safety for site work or basic ground skills.
  • Holding a CPCS or NSRWA qualification is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Grade4. Starting salary £31,640, with performance driven progression up to £36,460.
