General Service Department – Galashiels Health Centre (Stow H/C)
Monday to Friday, 11 00 (Hours may vary)
2 12.5 hour posts.
Role Overview
Domestic Assistant/Porter – responsible for domestic cleaning activities across clinics and departments. The role requires a high level of competence in cleaning, flexibility and knowledge of the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.
Payroll & Working Hours Changes
From 1 April 2026 the Agenda for Change full time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata but the hourly rate will increase so that pay will not be affected.
