B6 Specialist Physiotherapist 22 hours per week Permanent, Part Time Based in Midlothian Community Hospital Duties & Responsibilities

  • As an independent practitioner you will provide a full and comprehensive specialist service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a complex range of patients referred to the service.
  • Supervise physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, clinical support workers and physiotherapy students.
  • Work as a key member of the MDT and wider AHP team to support the patient throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes for a wide range of professionals and carers to educate carers and significant others in the understanding of both the therapy process and any intervention relating to the management of patients medical and social needs.

  • To work in the United Kingdom, a legal permission to work in the country is required.
  • This post requires PVG Scheme membership/record; non current members must apply to Disclosure Scotland and be deemed satisfactory before beginning in post.
  • As this post is part time, the salary will be pro rated.
