Job Overview

Braesview Medical Group Meadowbank Health Centre, Salmon Inn Road, Polmont FK2 0XF, Scotland.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our supportive, forward thinking team. This role supports 6 sessions per week (including 2 sessions on a Friday) with negotiable sessions and the possibility to consider fewer sessions for the right candidate.

The practice serves approximately 10,000 patients and is currently undergoing significant development following a recent retirement and the appointment of a new Practice Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

As a GP you will:
• Deliver high quality patient care in a patient centred environment,
• Conduct 15 minute appointments as the standard consultation length,
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings and monthly peer to peer educational sessions,
• Contribute to weekly multidisciplinary clinical meetings,
• Have opportunities for teaching at the University of Glasgow medical students.

Team Structure

• 5 GP Partners
• 3 Salaried GPs (including this post)
• 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners
• 2 Practice Nurses
• Additional support from Mental Health Nurses, physiotherapy practitioners and pharmacy staff

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £12,126.41 per session (annualised).

Annual leave: 28 days (pro rata) plus 10 public holidays (pro rata).

Legal and Practical Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate the appropriate right to work in the United Kingdom. This requires membership of the PVG Scheme via Disclosure Scotland. Successful completion of the scheme will be required prior to commencement.
