Senior Administrator (Planning)

Location: Linlithgow Employment: Full-time (early finish on Friday) Temporary with potential to extend Start: Immediate

Are you someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, loves keeping things organised, and enjoys being at the heart of the action? Our client is looking for a proactive and detail driven Planning Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where no two days are quite the same, you’ll be coordinating engineer schedules, solving problems in real time, and acting as a key link between customers and operational teams. If you enjoy juggling priorities, working with data, and being the person who keeps everything running smoothly, this could be the perfect fit.

Role

This is a fast paced and varied administrative position where you will play a key role in supporting the planning and coordination of field based engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and scheduling routes for engineers carrying out installations and repairs
  • Handling incoming customer enquiries and providing timely updates
  • Responding to queries via phone and email
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating systems
  • Supporting overall operational efficiency within the planning team

Qualifications

  • Strong Excel skills – confident working with spreadsheets, data, and scheduling tools
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A proactive and problem solving mindset
  • Previous experience in a planning, scheduling or administrative role is desirable
