Job Description

Overview

Tweed Forum is seeking an enthusiastic Peatland Project Support Officer to join our team on a six month funded internship through the NatureScot Peatland ACTION scheme. This role provides hands on experience in peatland restoration, working alongside experienced environmental specialists in the Scottish Borders.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow and support Peatland ACTION Project Officers.
  • Assist with fieldwork, GIS applications, and drone imagery collection.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to gain an A2 Certificate of Competency (CoC) Drone Certification.
  • Commitment to obtain First Aid Certification during the internship.

Remuneration

£28,952 pro rata for the six month internship.
