Pupil Support Assistant
Corstorphine Primary School is recruiting an empathetic Pupil Support Assistant to join our talented Pupil Support Team.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as a member of a team within all education establishments.
- Support pupils with additional support needs to access education and meet their care and wellbeing needs.
- Provide flexible support and assistance in the day to day operation of the school, as directed by the school leadership team.
- Address social, emotional and behavioural needs, including the provision of support for dysregulated behaviour.
Qualifications and Requirements
- This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Preferred candidate will be required to join or update the PVG Scheme. Candidates who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years must provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
- Unconditional offer and commencement will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of all pre employment checks.
