Community Use Attendant – frontline, customer facing role in Fife areas. Reporting to the Cluster Supervisor, you will engage positively with customers and service users, responding to enquiries via telephone, email and face to face interaction while operating booking systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Work predominantly weekends with some evening work; shift basis of up to five days over seven.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across designated areas and set up/clear equipment for events.
  • Operate booking systems and respond to call in service requests.
  • Perform regular building compliance checks (fire safety, water quality, asbestos monitoring).
  • Act as nominated key holder: open and secure buildings, operate alarm systems and respond to out of hours activations where required.
  • Travel between Community Use facilities as part of shift pattern and provide cover on short notice.

Qualifications

  • Confident and level headed when dealing with people at all levels.
  • Flexible, able to work on own initiative and adapt to shift changes.
  • Excellent team working skills and customer focused attitude.
  • Basic understanding of IT and ability to use internal systems.
  • Able to travel between facilities, including remote sites with limited public transport.
