Temp to Perm Purchase Ledger Assistant

East End of Glasgow £28,000 – £30,000 per annum Fully Office-Based

A well-established and highly respected manufacturing company based in East End of Glasgow are seeking a temp to perm Purchase Ledger Assistant to provide support across a busy ledger

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices
  • Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal teams
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Assisting with payment runs where required
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Ad hoc duties as required

About You

  • Proven experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Xero (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience using MS Excel to a high level (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables)
  • Available at short notice and comfortable with flexible, week-to-week assignments
