Overview

My client, one of Scotland’s largest local authorities, is seeking Quantity Surveyors to join their team on a long term contract basis. Positions can be on a part time or full time basis.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a team who are responsible for an ambitious housing regeneration project which includes new build and re modernisation of housing and flat development. Working within a multi disciplinary environment, you will be responsible for cost estimating, preparation of contract documents, site measurements, payments and contract administration.

Qualifications

As a Quantity Surveyor, you should be educated to degree level and be eligible and have considerable experience within the design and construction industry, experience of computerised billing systems and knowledge of procurement and current contract conditions.

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid working position with attendance on site and office when required. Contracted hours are 35 hours per week; part time hours are available and negotiable. Please note this role falls inside IR35.
