Job Description

Overview

Contract Permanent. Turnaround Service seeks experienced manager to join residential team as Service Co-ordinator. Role oversees direct service provision within residential facility, supports service manager by delivering structured 6-Week programme promoting change of behaviour and offering therapeutic interventions.

Turnaround Service delivers focused interventions addressing the complex issues of offending behaviour and problematic use of alcohol and other drugs. A CBT approach is adopted to promote self-awareness, self-esteem and confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care and support within residential environment to a high standard
  • Direct and line-manage a team of social care practitioners to assist individuals to maintain and develop their skills, abilities and confidence
  • Contribute to the development of the service, maintaining high standards which adhere to organisational policy, aims and objectives
  • Ensure dignity and privacy of individuals is respected and maintained at all times
  • Ensure individuals are supported to exercise their rights and to make informed choices

Requirements

  • Experience in supporting adults involved with community justice
  • Compassion, care and inclusiveness – essential qualities
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle (required)
  • IT skills required for all vacancies
  • Where applicable, registration with the SSSC within 6 months of start date
