TEKLA Draughtsperson

Location: Lockerbie -Open to, Hybrid/Remote (must be able to visit site, at least once every 2 weeks)

Full-Time Permanent
£38-43,000 depending on experience

At Talent Media, we are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing business within the Manufacturing industry, with a focus on structural steel, industrial, and agricultural construction sectors, to recruit an experienced TEKLA Draughtsperson for their Lockerbie office.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced drawing office team, you will be involved in a variety of industrial and agricultural steel projects, producing accurate technical drawings and 3D models using TEKLA software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing structural engineer drawings
  • Creating detailed 3D models using TEKLA
  • Producing fabrication and fitting drawings
  • Working with AutoCAD and TEKLA on live projects
  • Liaising with internal teams and customers on technical matters
  • Managing workload effectively to meet project deadlines
  • Maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality under pressure

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years TEKLA experience essential
  • Proven experience within a structural steel environment desirable
  • Strong technical drawing and modelling capabilities
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Relevant education or training within civil engineering or construction desirable

Working Hours

Monday Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am 3:00pm
