Learning and Development Officer
Target Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Secondment
Salary Range: Up to £30,000 DOE
Location: Any office 1 day per week (plus occasional travel to other offices and South Africa)
Closing Date: 9th June
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions across UK sites and virtual environments
- Support onboarding, creating inclusive and effective learning journeys
- Design and develop impactful learning materials and digital content
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations and Compliance
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Provide clear, supportive feedback to individuals and teams
- Stay informed on regulatory, company, and industry developments
- Collaborate with L&D colleagues to share best practice and innovation
- Adapt learning solutions to meet evolving business needs
Skills and Experience
- Skilled in coaching individuals and facilitating group learning
- Strong communication skills, simplifying complex concepts clearly
- Confident presenting to diverse audiences across levels
- Ability to design engaging digital and face-to-face learning solutions
- Comfortable influencing stakeholders and offering constructive feedback
- Organised, managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of FCA guidelines and insurance principles
- Passionate about learning, development, and helping others succeed
- Adaptable, proactive, and open to continuous improvement
