Role Summary
As a Public Area Cleaner, you will report to the Head Housekeeper and support the housekeeping team in the day to day running of the department.
Responsibilities
- Keep all public areas neat, vacuumed, and dusted. Ensure mirrors, furniture, floors, elevators, and doors are clean and mark free, and remove all trash from areas.
- Regularly check lobby restrooms, ensuring all surfaces are clean and restocking supplies including toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby.
- Spot clean all furniture and keep it in its proper place.
- Clean all brass in the public areas.
- Maintain all equipment and supplies and use them properly.
- Use recycling facilities within the service areas to the fullest extent.
Requirements
Previous experience in a housekeeping environment and the ability to deliver a consistent level of service in a challenging environment is required.
