Fixed Term IT Support Technician – Approx. 20 Hours per Week Immediate Start – Ideal for Students

Responsibilities

  • Provide first line IT support to internal and remote users
  • Log and resolve support requests via the helpdesk system
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and user issues
  • Support PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and related equipment
  • Assist with hardware installs, cabling, and general IT maintenance
  • Liaise with third party support providers where required

Qualifications

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Offer

  • About 20 hours per week during term time
  • Flexible working around studies where possible
  • Opportunity for additional hours during holidays/summer
  • Previous IT support or helpdesk experience is beneficial but not essential – training will be provided for the right candidate
