Role Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in the e commerce/fulfilment sector to identify new business opportunities. The role will involve generating leads, booking appointments on a daily basis, delivering sales presentations, and providing exceptional service at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and schedule appointments on a daily basis
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations
  • Provide an exceptional service at all times

Qualifications

  • Experience in e commerce/fulfilment Business Development or a field based role
  • Proven track record of closing sales
  • Ability to engage key stakeholders in bids
  • Confident, articulate, works well under pressure
  • High level of negotiating, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Self starter, working with minimum supervision
  • Field based, with excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload
  • Communication with line manager, providing weekly updates and seeking guidance as needed
  • Outstanding negotiation skills, resolve issues and address complaints
  • Knowledge of sales methodology
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
