Support business areas with day to day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution while ensuring operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
Accountabilities
- Support various business areas with day to day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for operational processes.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
- Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.
- Apply in depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.

- Maintain continuous understanding of how the sub function integrates with the overall function and the organisation’s products, services and processes.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Tax Operations, including a clear understanding of operational tax processes and associated risks.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively in a time sensitive, regulated environment.
- Confident problem solving skills, applying technical experience and established guidance to identify and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, work independently when needed, and contribute positively to team goals.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, delivering work to a high standard within a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology relevant to the role.
