Job Description

Swim Instructor (Bank) – East Kilbride FWC

Position: Part time, ad hoc, pool location. Pay up to £16 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.

We are looking for a confident, approachable instructor with excellent communication skills to provide safe, effective swimming lessons for our customers. As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you will be trained under the Swim England framework and will work with a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals.
  • Maximise every opportunity to help people learn and develop.
  • Deliver one to one lessons or group classes.
  • Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach.
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Promote memberships by explaining the advantages of our facilities.
  • Support a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification.
  • Good people skills and a love for swimming.
  • Experience or willingness to work with swimmers of varying abilities.
