Department: Finance
Location: Glasgow / hybrid
What you’ll do:
- Prepare billing guides, draft bills, and finalize invoices in 3E in line with partner instructions and client specifications.
- Submit invoices via eBilling platforms and ensure timely dispatch.
- Verify matter data and liaise with legal teams to correct errors.
- Act as a key contact for billing queries and collaborate with tax and credit control teams.
- Support multi-jurisdictional billing and participate in billing review meetings with partners.
- Maintain accurate records, run reports, and manage housekeeping tasks such as write-offs and file closures.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (accounting qualification desirable).
- Experience with 3E or Elite Enterprise (or similar practice management systems).
- Previous billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to engage at partner level.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast paced environment.
