Class 1 Driver (C+E) – Day Shift, UK/Ireland Freight

(Please note: the driving assessment will need to be completed at our headquarters based in Ballynure – this travel cost will be covered)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Roamer – Dayshift

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for an HGV driver that holds a C+E licence to join our team at our operation in Cairnryan. You will be undertaking the delivery & collection of products on behalf of Woodside Tankfreight and its customers.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive a high spec, modern and well-maintained fleet and we place great emphasis on maintaining quality equipment, delivering quality training and applying rigorous controls. We require a driver who has the ability to work as part of a team, is confident in the use of smart phones and is reliable and conscientious with a flexible attitude toward work.

The Role:

The role requires General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice, delivering and collection to/from our customers’ premises.

Loading and delivering of food / non-food grade goods on behalf of major blue-chip companies.

Full and ongoing training will be provided by our team of dedicated Driver Trainers.

A full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.

Digital tachograph card and driver’s CPC qualification card.

Able to maintain a good standard of driving.

Clean license preferable but up to a maximum 6 points is acceptable.

Good knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD regulations.

Full induction and training on all aspects of the role is provided on a one-on-one basis with one of our Driver Trainers.
